Douglas County Residential Sales…3rd Quarter 2010
A disappointing 3rd quarter in terms of sales. The bright side? The market will go up at some time. The sales posted are the lowest that they have been in 12 years. This was expected to happen after the tax credit ended. It is hard to determine if the tax credit that cost the taxpayers $20 billion, did work as planned. After the tax credit ended, the market place fell further in an attempt to find the “real” market. As of now, the marketplace is still adjusting…trying to find it’s equilibrium. I would not expect much change till the spring buying season begins in 2011. Here are the numbers:
