It appears that there is a mindset that has permeated the marketplace and that is that it is acceptable to make a lousy offer to purchase real property. Some Buyers think that they because they are a buyer, that their offer (whatever it may be) should be acceptable behavior. As stated before, the foreclosed properties represent approximately .6% of the total housing stock in Douglas County. That means that 99.4% of the housing stock in Douglas County is owned by folks that probably have it paid for or are maybe not in default on their loan.

There is a really good market here in Alexandria. It appears that the real estate market is now starting it’s turn into a sellers market. The age of ‘lousy offers” will soon be gone…
