Rafters are going up!!! Wiring and plumbing are being roughed in. Should have a roof shortly…yippeee:)
On the same note, I have been fielding calls from potential renters…all of them senior citizens or retirees. Because of the high-quality of this project and the adjoining HRA project (over $4,000,000 for 24 units = $166,000/unit…the most expensive rentals in Alexandria…contrary to the bad & ill informed rumors) that are both being professionally managed with on-site management and caretakers will produce a better standard of living for those residing in Alexandria, MN.

The Runestone, LLC building continues to make progress. By the end of today, the third story walls should be tipped up, rafters starting next week. JBerd has pulled onto the job site…they are contracted for the plumbing. Lots of fittings, tools and pipe moving in to the partially heated building.

I was up on the third floor on Valentine’s Day. What a fantastic panorama! The folks that will be residing at StoneManor will wake up with a good view of the world…which is what people need…a good view of the world.
They were tipping up walls for the third floor, will be setting rafters shortly.

1st Ever Summer Picnic4I collected the funds, organized the event and marketed the first-ever summer Realtor picnic to the area offices. Poots was there too…wish I had gotten more pictures. Gloria Iverson was the president and when I suggested it, she said great, you’re in charge. Needless to say, I moved it into a golf event after this first event.

Some ad photos we did back at Counselor. The office photo was for an idea of the staff. The other one was Secret Agent…cool ad. The other was one of the 50’s…taken in 1988, we ran listings priced in the 50’s.

Bremer Note.1989

In 1989, I had accomplished $3,000,000 in sales with my company. I was pretty proud of that…Dick Glaeseman was at Bremer and sent me a note…”Hard Work Pays Off”, I love to work hard…farm kid you know, course the Marines was no cake walk either.

Century 21 Viking

I had to borrow a gold coat for this picture…I thought they were kind of a horrid color so I wouldn’t buy one. I didn’t want to waste the money on it cause I knew I wouldn’t wear it. I did like the folks there though, great bunch, we have all had an interesting career and life.

Counselor Moves

Archive retrieval…actually digging through my stuff looking for something, I found this. About 1985 when we moved the company into our building. It was just the four of us then, stressful…but fun!
